For the first time in history, NASA astronauts have launched from American soil in a commercially built and operated American crew spacecraft on its way to the International Space Station (@iss). The SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft carrying NASA astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley (@astro.doug) lifted off at 3:22 p.m. EDT Saturday, May 30 on the Falcon 9 rocket from Launch Complex 39A at our Kennedy Space Center in Florida.⁣⁣

美國太空總署宣布，將在5月進行載人飛行，這是美國本土自2011年後，再度送人上太空。美國自2011年太空梭計劃中止後，就仰賴俄羅斯送人上太空，但NASA日前正式宣佈，預計在5月27日與馬斯克的SpaceX公司合作，送兩名太空人到國際太空站。

居至其他星球，一直是人類研究的目標。近日NASA科學家在分析克卜勒太空望遠鏡（Kepler Space Telescope），儘管它於2018年因燃料用盡退役，但其中還有大量數據，仍值得科學家繼續研究，發現在300光年外，竟有一顆體積與溫度類似地球的行星，讓他們相當吃驚。

美國太空總署(NASA)7日在記者會上宣布，最快明年開放國際太空站作為商業用途，預計每年提供2個名額，讓一般民眾也能入住太空；不過條件可不簡單，除了得接受培訓課程，一趟太空之旅至少要花上5900萬美元(約台幣18億元)，而太空觀光的收益未來將納入「2024重返月球」的部分資金。
